"A myth is, of course, not a fairy story. It is the presentation of facts belonging to one category in the idioms appropriate to another. To explode a myth is accordingly not to deny the facts but to re-allocate them."
—British philosopher Gilbert Ryle (1900 - 1976)
The Concept of Mind
Genuine or Myth?

Many countries have peoples of multiple religions. America opened her borders to peoples from all nations, cultures, ethnicities, races and religions.  And, peoples of each of those groups brought with them their own backgrounds, cultures, customs, values and beliefs.  The problems this creates are national.  In America, it is a special problem for those who believe the founders of America worshipped one particular God and established it for the uncontrolled worship of that one particular God.

This poses a question:  Who is the real God?  Who is the Living God?  Who is the God of all gods?

From the beginning of mankind, there is evidence of an awe-inspiring desire to worship someone or something greater than one’s self.  Hieroglyphic and pictographic records left by ancient civilizations, and the written records and histories of more recent civilizations, provide us with ample evidence of humanity’s belief in superior beings called deities or gods.

Many people have been taught or concluded that myths are fanciful fictions, borne out of the emptiness, loneliness or unfulfilled desires of “deprived” ancient peoples.  However, the word “myth”, itself, tells a different story.  The word “myth” actually means “history with no known author”.  Therefore, myths are actual recorded history to which no one has claimed rights of authorship or ownership.  This is a problem only for those who want some governing body to declare the credibility of the author.

The myths of ancient mankind carry in them acknowledgement of the existence of numerous deities, some of which were major deities, some lesser deities, and one deity over all the others.  And, those myths contain information about sacrificial rituals practiced in the worship of those deities, including the lesser deities.  Genuine or myth, the peoples of those ancient times record favorable responses from the worship of those deities, which included benefits in crop size, proper rainfall, reaping bountiful harvests, business success, prosperity and others.

Those deities each had their own domain.  That domain may have been a specific physical or national territory and the deity of that territory may have had dominion over many different aspects of that territory.  Or, that domain may have been only one aspect of that physical or national territory, such as fertility, crop size, rain, success of harvest, safe travel, success in relationships, success in love, success in business, prosperity, accidents and catastrophes, healings, miracles, etc.

The compulsion of nations to control other nations has survived to modern time.  It has, almost every time, meant the destruction of the existing, conquered, civilization.  However, assimilation of the newly conquered nation’s culture, customs, society and beliefs are welcomed and embraced into a new combined civilization.

However, America has not conquered other nations to absorb their cultures, values, customs, beliefs and faith.  Instead, America has opened her borders and absorbed the residue of many other nations, as their outcasts, fugitives, homeless, poor, seekers of fortune, opportunists and, occasionally, their wealthy sought refuge, a new home and opportunity to start over in a new life.  Now, America has multi-faceted problems, as many diverse peoples with equally diverse backgrounds, cultures, customs, values and beliefs demand equal rights and opportunities to worship their deity or deities without interference from the others.

This brings us back to the question:  Who is the real God?  Who is the Living God?  Who is the God of all gods?

Is the real God, the Living God, and the God of all gods named Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, the Vedas, Kami, Shang Di, Ahura Mazda or something else?  Can the true and living god not prove himself or herself to a nation that truly seeks to know?  Are you prepared for that proof?  Would you like to know truth?  Many claim to have “the truth”, but what are the facts?  Join us, on this site, as we travel along the path of discovery to find truth and discover proof of the Genuine and the Myth.
